silly things

"if people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done"
-- quote by Ludwig Wittgenstein...

this was a stupid (not silly - the result is NOT intelligent ;p) amount of work in photoshop...

this was meant to be a "threefer", but that may be considered a bit dubious as two of the components aren't really visible...

it's a mixed media selfie for the 5+2 challenge...
it's also for the album cover challenge (although you can't quite see the album cover due to shadowing so i'm going to post that separately)...
and it's a composite with a vegetable (remember the garlic?) for the composite challenge... but again, how would you know?

(i really need to work on displacement mapping)
I like it very much!!!

Awesome and a threefer as well

Pity about all the work, but well worth it for the image itself and the threefer.

Reading your commentaries can destroy brain cells! Fortunately I don't even try to understand... 'displacement mapping' sounds like something done by the military!

@yrhenwr Very skilful use of in camera multiple exposures! (I'll invent my own explanations as reading your commentaries can damage brain cells!)

@northy Yes, I understood that.. hence my feeble joke about brain cells and displacement mapping! A fine example of my inability to communicate effectively with social media!
