i bought this little wooden model a few years back in the hopes that it would help me with setting up poses... it's never worked... not sure if i just suck at posing humanoid models or whether this thing just doesn't have sufficient versatility... i've been thinking of getting one of the body kun figures but i've been kind of reluctant to as that's @batfish 's thing...
anyhoo... this is all i've got for tonight... it started out as something else but ended up as this and i just haven't the energy to keeping mucking about with the set up...
Think of all of us who create 'northy' images - you'd be doing an homage to @batfish and his wonderful creature's adventures. I have one of these as well but haven't used it yet. It could become the new Danbo?
Hey Northy! Sorry for being silent, if it's not too late I'd like you to capture the feeling of fall! However you'd like, it looks like you're primarily doing b/w, so feel free to cover this autumnal theme in monochrome!
They're quite useful for drawing but I never got into using mine much for photography. I'm still waiting for my Indigogo Stickybones to turn up (I suspect it never will!).
Maybe you should take a look at Figma figures (or the eBay knock offs which aren't bad). I've had quite a bit of fun with the Marvel character ones - especially compositing them.
@humphreyhippo that's unfortunate... but yeah... looks to be a start up company... based on how the orders are set up on the website it does seem a bit dubious... oh well... i'll check the site again in november to see if it looks anymore solid :)
