severely jet lagged and working thru a mountain of laundry... i thought i took a few hundred shots while away, but i think it may actually be more something like 3000... eeeeek!! anyway... here's one taken early morning at Portovenere on the Ligurian coast... EXIF time is off by 6 hours as i did not adjust the clock in my camera... there will likely be a bazillion vacay shots over the next few days... my apologies in advance...
Very pretty- it's always rough coming home with a time difference. Beautiful shot! Vacay shots should always be shown off- even if there's an abundance of them!
so on that tack, for get-pushed this week i want hyper-realism. meaning that i think your oeuvre is well established, you seem to prefer certain filters in Nik silvereffects that have a high-contrast , almost glowy dreaminess, and a selenium kind of toning, ie. you very effectively present your images in a coherent way, but I am asking you to edit some of your holiday photos using clarity and structure sliders and tending to the grungey side of the spectrym so that texture detail comes to the fore, and try not to amp the contrast. so that the subject is presented in super realistic detail, some desaturated colour would work, but black and white will be ok.
@domenicododaro i was... a fantastic, though rather hectic vacation... 5+days hiking thru Ligurian coast and Tuscany, plus a day at the beginning in Pisa and a couple days at the end in Firenze... and then a few hours in Rome... beautiful beautiful country!
@kali66 just so you know, i've tried processing for hyper realism for a few shots and generally found the results to be hideous... hmmm... this shall be interesting!!
