anyone lose a mitten?

found while i was walking by the lake at Humber Bay Park West... for the word of the month thing... Friday's word(s) was "on a walk"...

btw, i assume this is a mitten, but why is there a pompom at the top? it's gotta make picking things up rather tricky!
