This week at 52Frames the prompt is "distortion". I've been playing with a variety of techniques - this was an in-camera double exposure that was tweaked in PS. I'm trying to decide if it counts as "distortion".
This was originally intended to be a bit of a wonky double cityscape exposure... but the birds photo-bombed me... and i quite like the result...
In the interest of full disclosure the PS tweaks were: (1) adding a bit to the top is that the wing wasn't touching the edge of the frame and (2) erasing the 2nd CN tower, which looked really odd... the double exposure of the remaining buildings i left as was...
The birds are terrific. So good to get them at the right time for the in camera double exposure. Your tweaks in PS were good decisions I think. Fav from me.
It's really clever and I found reading your tweaks interesting.
I've researched your camera ( no not stalking, but a quick google) and it will "do" rear curtain synch flash, with a speed light or the fixed one. So, if you've not done this as a challenge before, or recently, could you do a studio/ indoor photo, with minimal editting, using rear curtain synch flash. ( extra brownie points if no masks involved 😀😊🤣)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond hey Jackie... i almost never say "no" to a challenge, but i'm going to with this one... i KNOW my camera is supposed to do this, but i was set this challenge a few months ago and was not able to get it to work... and work is crazy at the moment so i really don't have time to research what i am doing wrong... sorry! 😞
@northy Hiya, absolutley no worries, would you like a week off from the challenge so you can relax?? OR............. How about a photo with the mask that doesn't creep me out??!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond what is this "relax" of which you speak? 🙃 j/k - i kinda default to photography to clear my brain, so i don't really need a week off... not sure though about a mask photo that doesn't creep you out... is there such a thing?🤪
