for the NF-SOOC challenge as well as 5+2's long exposure theme... shot on an angle 'cuz i knew there was no hope in getting it level without help from LR 🤣
+1 on the effectiveness of the tilt. Are you aware there are bubble levels that slide into a camera's hot shoe? My tripods both have ball heads. The bubble level means I don't have to try to correct the distortion caused by pointing up or down.
@fotoblah thanks!!!! do those little bubble things work if your house is crooked? 🙃🤣 i used to have one, but found it too fiddly... and my camera also has the level indicators for both x and y axes - but even when i think i have it perfectly level LR tells me otherwise...
@northy You`re welcome. Bubble levels are powered by gravity. They can't correct if the verticals and horizontals of the subject are neither. But a camera level on 2 axes won't add distortion. Both my cameras have x and y axis indicators. When working outside in bright light, or from a POV so low it's difficult and uncomfortable to try to see the indicators, I find it much easier to level the camera using the bubble level.
