Very pretty! How much do you love your lens? I was looking at them online the other day. Tax return is coming and I'm considering a new lens. It's between a macro or a wide. Did you get a good deal?
tx everyone... today was cold and damp... spent an hour when i got home from work this evening looking for bugs in the house and only came across one lone spider (in my other album)... i'm really loving the new lens... still trying to learn the dof and how to hold the thing to avoid camera shake... i do have a tripod, but i can't imagine that will do much for me when i'm chasing a caterpillar around the yard ;p
Jenn - i bought it at Henry's... it was on sale, altho' i imagine there are better deals to be had out there... the salesman was a hoot... he handed me the box before he rang i up and said: "here, do you want to touch it and start the bonding process?" no $h!t sherlock!!!!!! ;p
Great shot, they look like alien eyes....Henry's is usually over priced I find. We have a local camera shop in Ottawa called Galaxy. They sell on ebay too, that is where I got my 35mm lens. Vistek is good too. I want a new lens! Maybe when we sell the house.
Wow, I thought they were tulips - great clarity, you certainly seem to have got the hang of your new lens. Have you tried a gorillapod, sounds like just what you need for when you are crawling around after caterpillars - love mine
