To the beat of a distant drum... by northy

To the beat of a distant drum...

This guy and at least one other were drumming in the brush by the lake... it sounded truly wonderful... I wish I knew music because I don't have the right words to describe it... primitive maybe? it was like something you could imagine hearing at sunset 1000 years ago... not what you'd expect at 4pm just off the crowded boardwalk of a large city... I am not sure this photo adequately portrays the mood... but I am still looking at it almost 24 hours later, and I am still hearing those drums...
I love the silhouette effect

Love the foreground bushes in this - like we're sneaking a look.

A few years ago we visited an ancient stone circle & there was a chap sat in the middle playing a drum the whole time. It was a cold & windy day & it made it such a surreal experience, that I'll never forget it.
