we went up north a bit today to visit our boys at camp... passed this bit of water with dead tree stumps in it and made my hubby stop... clambered down a hill, got my hands all sticky with sap from a tree... balanced my camera on a map book (remember when we used those?) and used my sun glasses to get a bit of long exposure out of the deal... processed in LR5... played with the saturation a bit... and flipped it because i liked it better that way :)
Cool! :) I used the sunglasses trick years ago when I still had my tiny p&s - I was so proud of myself for coming up with the idea all by myself, without ever hearing anyone had used it before... :D :D :D But now my lenses are too big (or my sunglasses not big enough) and I'm left with a dream of some ND filters... :D
You're so funny with your perception of a ghastly mess. There are quite a few of us who think this is brilliant. Love the colours and the 'smeariness' (sorry it was the only word that came to mind that describes what I see here) Fav xx
Just realised that I faved but not commented ages ago :)I love the tones and dreaminess of this north girl! the glasses trick, so much cheaper than an ND filter :)
