@lizhammond gave me a really interesting challenge for get-pushed this week... she has suggested that i give up control, and allow various components of my shot to be chosen at random... the idea being that various elements (camera, lens, settings and subject) would be written down on bits of paper and tossed into a hat to be picked at random...
because i am inherently lazy, i decided to use a random number generator instead... asking it to give me a number between 10,000 and 39,999... the first digit representing camera, the second lens, the third f stop or shutter speed, the 4th subject and the 5th whether colour or black and white...
for this image i had to use the canon, the 100mm lens, and a shuttespeed of 1/1000s... the subject was "adrift" in black and white...
