another random bit of nothingness

i recently discovered that there is a camera club in my area... which really shouldn't come as a surprise, but there it is... i hadn't thought to actually look for one in all these years... anyhoo, today we went on a rather frosty photo walk by Grenadier Pond in High Park... there is a wooden deck on the shore along the path... kinda liked the shadows and light...
I like the composition with the shadows and sparkles.

The sparkles are fab. Love the texture of this. Well seen.
I've never been tempted by a camera club. I've been to a couple of Gavin Hoey talks at local ones but they've never really seemed like my sort of crowd.

@humphreyhippo the people i've met so far are quite lovely... my issue will be that i don't really do well with structure... outside of work that is... ;p

Ouch! I can see myself tripping on that and getting a few wood splinters! You might get some ideas from the camera club .. but I'll be interested to learn how long you stay with them!

I bet your pictures were very different from those of your colleagues!
