was aiming for negative space and the Adamski effect... this was a stilly amount of work in PS...
started with two versions of the same shot.... one with me, and one without...
so... what did i do...
1. removed the pictures hanging on the walls in PS (because that's so much easier than just taking them off the walls for the shoot 🥴)
2. made a duplicate of the background and added motion blur twice... once leaning right and once leaning left (because of the effect of the wide-angle lens)... then blended with a gradient mask...
3. made a duplicate of the shot with me and added motion blur to one of them leaning a bit right...
4. masked myself into the background and then exposed from around my chest up so that i wasn't totally blurred out...
5. converted to b&w in silver fx and added some dark at the bottom and at the top back in LR
6. also in LR brought up the whites a bit to get some pure white behind me...
still debating whether i like this or whether i need to find another location to make this work...
A lot of work and thank you for posting all the details. I think it turned out well. My only suggestion is that you are maybe more corporeal than I like, if it is to be a haunting.
