The Salt Marsh Trail in colour - 4

On the last day of September we went for a 10 km walk on this trail. It was a spectacular day at 17 C and an amazing view everywhere I looked.

I usually prefer my images in colour but for some reason the b&w shot really speaks to me. What do you think?

looking at both versions again, I do like the warmth of the colour version, but the black and white is more dramatic and it really emphasises the shapes and textures more.

Lovely lead in lines, depth of field and light, its hard to pick between the two Nova, I would go for the monochrome version as it seems to have more defined structure:)

Blue skies reflected in the water with white puffy clouds. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

Thanks to each of your for sharing your kind words. It was a beautiful day and I feel that the big puffy clouds that seemed to continue forever add such depth to the image. The person in the shot is my daughter, who was lagging behind at this point. :)
