Today Canada legalized recreational pot and you can now purchase it across this country I live in. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but now I can bring out my pot and photograph it on the street without having to worry about being arrested. :D
If Washington State is any indication, it will be harder to find workers that can pass a drug test. Also depends on how much tax the country adds to the product.
What a great fun interpretation Nova love it, on a more serious note has it be legalised because Canada has one of the highest rates of cannabis use in the world, particularly among young people and it can not be controlled, very worrying indeed particularly when driving a vehicle on the road:)
before we know it, the roads will be full of pots and even pans and bed pans peut-être. the whole country will be a very noisy place. and i hope someone hits those ottawa politicians with the pots on their heads. pots as in the stainless steel kind. very clever parody, kiddo. aces!
Thanks to you all for your kind words and I'm glad to provide a smile or giggle with my shot.
This is a very hot topic right now in Canada and has been all over the news for months. The government is spinning this as 'keeping it out of youth's hands', by only selling it in licenced retailers (and I think, the gov't is trying to make some extra $). Now that Canadian's can now grow a couple plants in their own home, it will make it more accessible to youth and everyone else, not less. We'll just have to wait and see.
