I'm participating in the month of 'flashofred2019' and using positive/negative space to emphasize shape and using the same object for 7 days. Today is the day for the colour red and this works perfectly with my apple theme. I won't tell you how long it took to carve this apple, but it was longer than it took to take the picture.
Oh wow - I know that would have taken ages. If I had done it the apple would have been brown by the time I had finished. Such a great creative idea for today's apple.
A big THANK YOU for all your words of praise for my lovely little apple. I was very happy how it turned out and am flattered by all the attention it has received.
I did use lemon juice to help reduce browning while carving and of course as this was a selective colour challenge, it worked well with the carving. :)
