Hubby's cake by novab

Hubby's cake

Each year I bake a special fruit cake for my hubby's birthday in December. I make it early so I can brush it gently with spiced rum twice a week for 7'ish weeks. It's his favorite cake.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Wow! I'm a spice freak! You bake it in November for December and spice it all the way? Can you please share a recipe? I'm really intrigued and also have birthday in December;) photo is great too!!!

Agree with all above that it sounds amazing! Love the composition of the photo. The lighting is awesome, giving it that "homey" feel. I also agree that your hubby is blessed to have a wife that goes to this much effort! Can't wait to see a slice!
