The A. Murray MacKay Bridge by novab

The A. Murray MacKay Bridge

This shot is taken from the Dartmouth side looking towards Halifax.

The A. Murray MacKay Bridge locally known as "the new bridge" is a suspension bridge linking the Halifax Peninsula with Dartmouth, NS and opened on July 10, 1970. The reason it’s called the new bridge is: we have two bridges, the “old bridge” is the Angus L. Macdonald opened in April 2, 1955.

Here is a shot from the opposite side from March 17th: http://365project.org/novab/365/2015-03-17

Thanks for your positive words of encouragement and have a great day!
Striking structure, looks imposing in B&W...
