Who would have thought I would see a submarine on my walk in the park.
Canada purchased the HMCS Windsor from the United Kingdom in 2001 and my hubby sailed her home (as part of the crew) in October 2001 on her first trip to her new home in Nova Scotia.
So this submarine represents a big part of our lives and I’m happy to have a picture of her in my project.
What an interesting subject for your photo. I admire men and women who sail (is that the proper verb?) on submarines. I cannot imagine being submerged for long periods of time.
what a great find.
I will be a bit limited in commenting on your photos until I am up and running again. Only able to type with one finger at the moment following a wrist fracture and it is slow going.
Another wonderful surprise this morning seeing that my submarine was on the TP & PP. I feel that is very special to me, because my connection to this image. Thank you for following my project and your kind words and favs. You made my day. :)

Babs, not to worry about typing & commenting, just keep enjoying the images you "see" on this fantastic site. I know this great group of people will understand, as I do. I have always enjoyed reading your kind words and hope things go well with your surgery.
I will send some good wishes your way for positive results & a quick recovery. Taking care of yourself if the most important thing to do now. :)
Also very nice framed by the trees of the park.
