You get them later than we do . I'm always surprised at the verity of Daff's there are, you would think that I would remember from year to year, no it's always a lovely surprise . May be something to do with the short time they are around...
Very nice, Nova! I have not yet mastered the composition of catching the tops of a field-full-of-flowers like this. Yours has the added bonus of the second layer in the background and the urns to set them apart!
We were by here on the 18th! We'd picked up visitors from the ship and toured them around for the day (including Lunenburg, of course!) I wanted so badly to have time for the gardens, but it didn't happen. Maybe another day, you and I can?
I'm glad you like the bright and cheerful flowers. I too liked the layering of the two flower beds in this shot. I'll have to go back again next week to get shots of the tulips that were not ready for me. Thanks for your kind words. :)
@rhoing Thanks a bunch Thom, it took me a bit of time to find the right angle for this shot, as I had to circle the beds for a few minutes to get it the way I wanted it. :)
