Impatiens in my garden

I love the beautiful colours of these flowers and plant them every year in my garden. :)
Love the dark background and foreground blur!

Lovely. Reminds me of Busy Lizzies. Maybe you don't call them that?

@maggiemae @dianeburns @mittens @peterday @jamibann @bill_fe @jack4john @pcoulson @randystreat @dawnee @peterlgrave

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and share your very kind words.

@jamibann I've never heard them called Busy Lizzies before, but from my google search they are the same flowers.

@jack4john Hey J these flowers grow happily in a cool shady location with watering once a week. I'm sure both you & your flowers could be bright and sunny in the right location. :)

@novab Interesting. My mum often had busy lizzies as indoor plants - too cold in Scotland to have them outdoors I think.

@jamibann I've had some indoors in the winter too and put them back out in the late spring (after the last frost). I would have thought they would be fine in Scotland in the summer, but maybe they don't like to be too cold at night (just like me). :)
