Red-billed gull

While out scouting for our daily image I carefully walked over to the water's edge to photograph this gull having its morning bath and I was too slow. I managed to lift the camera and get six photos as it flew away and two were okay unfortunately the light was wrong to get a catchlight in the eye. This one and another here.
