A friend mentioned he heard there was to be a flypast on the beach at Mt Maunganui and would I like to go over to it? Sounded good so we arranged to attend. Then we could not find any mention of it anywhere so decided not to waste time going over as we have lots to do. Then at 6.30 pm I heard the roar of warplanes and rushed to get my camera and shoot down the road and caught this image and a couple of others that were all right. @casablanca I'm good thanks, its good to be back. Janice & I have been taking at least one photo every day since 1st Jan, just not had time to upload them yet. We have been sorting out the house and finishing renovations that we started 12 years ago and selling to downsize. We are going to live in a motorhome for a while and looking forward to more time for hobbies like Photography.
