I set up my camera on a tripod here at the pedestrian walkway along the city park. Then two persons appeared perfectly for me to take a single shot, and I packed down my gear. I use my iPhone as a remote control, so I could chose focus and take a picture without even looking at or touching my camera. Then I can get more candid shots.
I'm going to use that technique more often.
