1953 Leyland Titan Water Tender (built on PD2 Bus Chassis.
Decommissioned 1973
Purchased by a dealer and sold onto Marshalls Transport Bulwell as a works fire engine for 11 years.
Then stood neglected in 1987
Acquired by present owner in 1987. Returned to road in 1994.
The sole survivor of the original 8 machines owned by Nottinghamshire Fire Service.
It has aluminium sides that would sustain less damage than red painted ones when using narrow lanes.
