Welcome To Nottingham Science Park by oldjosh

Welcome To Nottingham Science Park

I had seen these buildings opposite Highfiled Park so today decided to photograph them.
Some of the buildings are part of the university
The round black building is a biomass heating system for the yellow and green building on the right. This building also has a brown roof which will allow plants to grow there which will become a natural place for wildlife
The boardwalk in front of the line of buildings is designed as a string of lily pads across a area of marshy ground.
Exploring the area I discovered a local nature reserve on old railway railway sidings, I didn't have time to explore it all but did see plenty of birds some of which I posted at http://365project.org/oldjosh/365/2016-04-12
Lovely interesting shots. They make me want to go inside the buildings and see more.
