Another wet day, the rain stopped early afternoon so I had a walk round, or nearly round the pond; the pond is connected to the river Trent where the water level has risen due to all the rain so the bridge is covered with water again More torrential rain on the way home in the tram, but again it had stopped by the time we reached Basford.
@ianjb21@koalagardens@susiemc@happysnaps Thank you all for your comments, between Wilford and the Trent there is an area with playing fields, this small nature reserve and rough land which will take flood water from the river. Flood defense banks and walls have been built to protect the the houses
