@piedfly They are on railings on a bridge over the Wandle in Earlsfield. Vikings alternately face the road and pavement

@piedfly Maybe, but these have a job to do. Wendles farm, from which the river Wandle & Wandsworth got their names, was invaded by the vikings. On crossing the river they lost some of their weapons in it. These obviously must be watching everyone crossing the bridge to make sure they do not walk off with the weapons
