Sunflower

This one is (or was) 6½ foot tall.
Unfortunately the weather changed, it became wet and very windy and on Friday morning the stem was broken and the head bent over. It is now in a vase on my windowsill

I always thought sunflowers were yellow but apparently not so. I love this colour.

@jan11 the usual ones grown in gardens are, this is the first time I have grown different coloured ones
