Today I caught the bus to go into the center of Ottawa I wondered around the city, and found my way to these falls where the Rideau River joins the Ottawa river. The river divides so there are two separate falls, the west falls are just beyond the first cliff.

There are footpaths across the dams. Rain had been forecast and it started while I was here, I got a bit wet as it was quite a long walk back to catch the bus.
