This is lock number one where the canal rejoins the river Trent. As I was preparing to take the photo the nearer man asked if was taking his photo, I told him to smile. I showed them the photo and the other man said he looked prouder than the boat, the Pride of Sherwood. The old dilapidated boat on it had been practically submerged in the canal and they suggested I took a photo of it.
These two men then got into the tug boat Will Scarlet to tow the Pride of Sherwood.
