An Act of Rememberance

In the Market Square outside the council house. Attended by the Lord Mayor and the Sheriff of Nottingham; a deputy Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire and representatives of the Armed forces. Members of the public of all ages and nationalities were present.
As the council house clock struck 11, drowning out the playing of the last post, the whole area became silent, buses remained at the bus stops no trams passed by and people stood still in the adjacent streets.

I realised how quiet it had been when life returned to normal afterwards
It's really quite amazing how respectful everyone is these days. More so than in the past I think. Nicely captured.
