I had a walk in Bulwell Hall Park and heard a a woodpecker drumming. I spent a long time watching a pair of these great spotted woodpeckers flying and calling about the tree tops and occasionally landing briefly on a branch. Eventually this one landed in a place I could photograph it. Two shots and it was away again
