The fair opens next Wednesday and is one of the biggest in Europe. The organisation of the event is immense, although some of the rides are in the same place every year,new rides also come. The size of every ride, caravan, lorry and cab have to be known so space and parking allocated. The areas marked out on the grass are different shapes and sizes for this, the man had a wad of papers and spray can in his hands and marking each space.
