Fieldfare

Yesterday morning I saw a bird which I could not recognise sitting on the fence, but by the time I got my glasses and camera it had gone. Today it was sitting on the fence again preening itself, so I was able to identify and photograph it.

Lucky you. We had our very first Fieldfare a few days ago but got only a poor "record" shot.
