The Olde Mill Pottery - Caythorpe

My walk today took me through two villages Hoveringham and Caythorpe. I was looking at the side of the mill when a man walking a dog spoke to me, turned out he was the potters husband, he invited me into the pottery to meet his wife. The pottery is in the first room of the building, Judy Firmin,the potter took me into the show room with half a water wheel in position and the mill race rushing below it. She then took me into their lounge to see the gear wheel. I ended up buying the two mice reading a book called Escape Holes
