This year the Goose is in the Old Market Square where the original goose fair,that sold geese, was held.
This year would have been the 729th Goose fair and is only the 9th time in its history it has been cancelled.
The first time was due to the Bubonic Plague in 1646, the other times were during The first and second world wars.
