today I went exploring along a foot path and to a blank area on the map. I knew it was a hill with paths leading onto it and is actually a spoil heap from a former coalmine. this is looking down into Bulwell after taking this photo I had a long walk across the flat top of the hill to the path that led down near to Phoenix park tram stop, the tram lines are on the former railway line leading to the coalmine
