Circular Walk - for Agile People?

This high wall is part of the flood defenses protecting Beeston from the river Trent when it floods, but how can you get over the wall? Climb? Vault? Carry a ladder with you? or of course you could ..... read the notice that has slipped down the post which presumably (it was too low for me to see) informs you to .....

@susiemc Thank you Sue, I was just walking along the canal tow path and although I had walked under the footbridge I hadn't notice that it also went over the wall, until I looked back at it from here.
