While I was writing my shopping list this morning, I checked in the fridge to see what fruit and veg I needed to buy. I spotted an orange and a lemon and thought this would be interesting as a photo. So after lunch I had the idea of blending the two fruits together. Probably not the most brilliant of photos, but it made me smile.
This is gorgeous and very creative, Babs. I thought at first that you had just peeled each into a spiral but I can see that I was wrong. I bet that they would look fab against a black background.
@steampowered They are just sliced. I did think a black background myself after I'd done this, but I didn't want to use card and the black sheet we have has been loaned to a friend for his photography at the moment. As I have been running around like a blue arsed flea all day I had to make do with what I had. Maybe try it again one day.
@rhos Wouldn't that be good. Actually it reminded me of a tree at a nursery in Cyprus when we lived there for 3 years. The chap who owned the nursery grafted an orange tree to a lemon tree and the tree had both oranges and lemons on it. He was very proud of achieving that and showed everyone who went there what he had done.
