Friday is 'people' day again. Technically though Mandy isn't a person, in fact she is a department store mannequin, but she does have an interesting story.
We had a workshop at our photo club and told our member's that we had a nude model coming along to pose for us and we could try our skills at photographing her using different types of lighting.
Along came the evening of the workshop and tripods and cameras were set up, spectacles were cleaned and then ..... we brought out Mandy from the cupboard scantily clad in a sort of Roman toga.
Some members were disappointed, some were relieved but everyone thought it was funny and a good night was had by all.
Mandy behaved perfectly and wasn't at all temperamental. We didn't even have to pay her or buy her a drink!
@elaine55 It was one of our better turn outs for some reason!!! We only had one person who wasn't too sure about turning up, but we told him that things weren't what they seemed and he did come and probably felt a bit embarrased that he made a bit of a fuss as the laugh was on him!!!
@paulaw Thanks Paula. We tried different lighting ideas and this was with a red filter on a lamp. The room we use for our workshops isn't very well lit so we were at a bit of a disadvantage, but it turned out well and we all had a good nigyht.
