Contemplation

Went into Nelson Bay this afternoon to take a look at the sculptures on display.

This little boy obviously decided to be part of one of the exhibits and even found a handy place to park his scooter.

Oooh hope it doesn't now have an additional dent where it shouldn't!! Just spotted the scooter too thought that was part of the sculpture originally (maybe it is - sort of thing they have in Tate Modern all the time!)

@paulaw No the scooter belongs to the child. I took a photo of this sculpture earlier as I was walking along the waterfront and then saw it again on the way back with this little boy on it. Thought this was more interesting than the original.

It was a beautiful sunny winter's day yesterday about 19 degrees C and because it is school holidays children were everywhere in Nelson Bay. If you look through the trees in this photo you will see a play park so I guess this kiddie thought this was a climbing frame part of the park. He was just sitting there watching the world go by in a world of his own. Thanks for all your lovely comments.

@gamelee Thanks Lee. This was taken along the waterfront in Nelson Bay. The weather has been beautiful the last few days, around 19-22 degrees C during the day. Not bad for winter. I am sure we will have some cold days again soon though before winter ends.
