This morning I went into Nelson Bay with a friend Elizabeth to take photographs. She was having trouble with her camera as her photos were coming out blurred, so we had a photo outing to see what she was doing wrong.
Last night it bucketed it down with rain for the first time in a month, but luckily the rain held off today and we had a good morning wandering round the town.
This photo is of some of the murals on the wall of one of the car parks in Nelson Bay.
Our morning ended with a return to Elizabeth's house where we had a welcome cup of tea and one or two pieces of delicious fruit cake which her husband makes.
We sorted out the problems with her camera too, so altogether a very enjoyable morning.
Wow! A wonderful shot and a great way to brighten up the dreary concrete areas of a municipal structure. I'm glad that you were able to sort out your friend's camera problems too.
Wish we had beautiful murals like this decorating some of our ugly multi-storey car parks they are beautiful. Very well spotted and congrats on getting to the bottom of your friend's camera problems.
@degarvey Thanks for dropping by. @steampowered Thanks Paul. It does brighten up the car park. there are more paintings, but this is all I could fit in the shot. Good day all in all and Elizabeth was pleased her camera problems were sorted. @gerry Thanks Gerry. @gypsy6 Thanks Deb. I like the Aboriginal Art one next to it. @dekky740 Thanks Karen. It certainly brightens up a dull area. @joluise Thanks. It does brighten it up. @lafish Thanks Laurie
@winnedreamer Thanks Nic. Funny isn't it, things which are there all the time we hardly notice. A bit like winter trees on Magnus Street!!!! @derekvickers Thanks Derek it was a successful morning. @sbolden Thanks Scott @joeyc Thanks Joey. The murals are to depict our seaside town. @paulaw Thanks Paula. Elizabeth was pleased we were able to fix her camera problems too.
Hello Babs. Greetings from Edmonton Canada. I came across this one and thought what a great way to brighten up what would otherwise be a pretty drab looking building I would think
@elaine55 We managed to sort out Elizabeth's camera problems which was good. The murals certainly brighten up a concrete car park. These are just a few of the murals there are quite a few more, but couldn't fit them all in the picture.
