Spent the morning at an Andrew Lloyd Webber presentation with Nicki. Then went for a cuppa with Nicki. Of course, they forced a cake on us in the café too!!! Then had to go and rob the bank. Then did the shopping. Then picked up my complementary copy of the 2014 Port Stephens calendar. The photos in it are from members of our photography club and David and I and Nicki @winnedreamer each have photos in it. So now we are world famous in Port Stephens!!!!
Such a busy day. So this is a photo I took a couple of days ago. A bicycle made for two, do you think it will ever catch on!!!
Love this Babs, great shadows but I somehow think its a no go for the black one. I bet this would look good in black and white too! What was the ALW presentation? Can we see your photos from the calendar?
Love the shadow - great spotting! How exciting that you feature in a calendar! :) I agree with @joluise - perhaps you should cut down on the robberies... :)
@elaine55 Never thought of doing it in b&w. Tried it and it looks good. May keep that in mind for club night sometime!! The ALW presentation was at our local community centre. Just a local thing. Really good though.
The calendar is organized by our local newsagency. He puts together a Port Stephens calendar each year using local professional photographers and last year I asked him if he would be interested in using photos from our club members who are all amateur. We submitted about 90 photos and he chose the ones for the calendar. You would have to come up to the Bay to see the calendar.
@joluise Thanks Jo. I was pleased we managed to get the calendar together. It looks good. I only rob my own money from the bank, forgot the balaclava to do the job properly!!!
@alia_801 Thanks. We were all pleased about the calendar too. all good publicity for our photo club. I don't rob the bank too often. Not got enough in there to rob!!!
@paulaw thanks Paula. I think you would have to be having a bit of a flat day for it to catch on though. Thanks for the congrats on the calendar. All good publicity for the photo club.
