I am posting my Friday people photo a bit earlier than I normally do because I had a medical appointment this morning and now we are going to put the new plants which we bought yesterday, in the garden. I also got a rusty old wheelbarrow from the dump shop and I am going to put flowers in that too.
This photo is of Afro Moses who was playing at the multicultural festival along with his band O'Jah. The chap in last weeks people shot was a member of the band.
I have always wanted to be the wheelbarrow/plant thing but just never found one,you will need to post a photo of the finished results. Love this guy's outfit.
Quite a colorful character!!! Great capture of him. Hope your medical condition is not serious. Don't want to see any "tendrils" coming out of your head...hahahahah!!
Another great person shot Babs. I hope all went well with the medical appointment and I look forward to see your shots of the planted wheelbarrow when it blooms.
@sbolden Thanks Scott. I believe that he does play several traditional Ghanaian instruments and I think this may be one of them. Not sure what it is called though. Perhaps someone on 365 will know.
@eyesmile I could perhaps do with tendrils they may support my neck. Other than fusion I am not sure what they can do for my neck. I have cervical spondylosis and severe disc space narrowing and sometimes get pinched nerves which is pretty painful. They have to keep an eye on it in case the blood supply to my brain stops. That could be an advantage eh!!! Just need a neck transplant ,that should do the trick.
@derekvickers Thanks Derek. They just have to keep an eye on my neck because of pinched nerves. I will take a photo of the wheelbarrow once it is in use. The wheelbarrow is a bit like my neck though, a bit clapped out!!! ha ha.
@yaorenliu Thanks. @tryingforsighs Thanks. I crropped it in to just show Moses because the band were playing in the street and the rest of the picture looked a bit messy. I was pleased with the result. @iwatts Thanks Ian. Back to the gardening again today.
@streats Thanks Ian. Another day of gardening. Bought loads of plants and have to get them in soon as it is so dry here at the moment. I have a feeling that we will get a lot of bush fires this summer.
@iwatts PS Ian. Meant to say good luck with the people shots. Most people I ask if I can take their photo, but sometimes that isn't possible. I find that if I say "You look fantastic can I take your photo" or something along those lines, they usually say "yes"!!!
This photo was taken from quite a way off and I cropped it in to just Afro Moses in the shot.
@winnedreamer I'm looking forward to this years festival too. I guess we won't be at the exhibition on that Saturday. I think we will need a note for the teacher!!!
@angelar Thanks Angela. Just need a new neck!!! Just causing a few problems at the moment. The down side of getting older!!! The last resort is fusion, but I will avoid that. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Moses is a character isn't he. How does he lie down with that hair? I bet he has neck problems!!!
Awesome! Fabulous color, great composition! I can just feel the music through your capture!
My husband has had a neck fusion surgery. He was sorry he waited so long to have the surgery. I can only imagine your discomfort from the severity of pain my husband described. I know it takes a great deal of fortitude. Sending kind thoughts!!!
What a colourful character. You Do so well with people. We have just unburied an old wheel barrow complete with plant in out garden this afternoon. The more we dig and cut back the more we find. It's looking pretty good already
@gypsy6 Thanks Deb. I will email you my wheelbarrow and you email yours. Your garden will be brilliant when it's finished. Looked like Sleeping Beauty's garden when I saw it!!!
@tryingforsighs Thanks. I crropped it in to just show Moses because the band were playing in the street and the rest of the picture looked a bit messy. I was pleased with the result.
