Storm damage

We spent yesterday afternoon and evening at our annual exhibition. The temperature was around 38 degrees all day and there were two bush fires in our area, one at Fingal Bay and one on the Lemon Tree Passage road.

In the evening there was a terrific storm with gale force winds and thunder and lightning. About 10 pm the power went off for a few hours and this morning we discovered that a few branches from one of our trees had broken off. One hit my car (the one on the left of the picture). David's car was okay. The only damage was a slight scratch on the bonnet of the car though. Tough cars Subaru's!!

Our garden is full of debris from the storm though and now we are home from Sydney we have some clearing up to do.
Glad there was not too much structle damage or any one was hurt winds and storms can be so powerful glad your car was ok Babs

Storms one moment, storms the next - this weather is crazy. I am wearing a cardigan now but on Sunday it will be 30C, no wonder I am feeling exhausted.

@gerry @angelar @jackie8 @winnedreamer @sunraye @dekky740 @joluise Thanks everyone. Sorry for the group and late reply, but pretty busy at the moment. We have got pretty strong winds here today too and more bush fires so hope more trees don't come down tonight in the wind.
