Tanilba Bay

Had to go to Tanilba Bay this morning to drop off some posters for photo club exhibition which starts tomorrow.

From there we went on to Newcastle and had quite a nice day. Lunch in Newcastle, a wander round town taking photos and a visit to the art gallery. I really needed a normal day after the last week.

I thought I did quite well to take this photo with no cars or people in it, but when I looked closely at it there is a character in a white hat lurking in the picture. Not sure if you will be able to spot him though.
Great gateway to Tanilba Bay. I couldn't find the lurking white hat though.

Very cool capture. Love the stone work and arches! Great job with the road leading through the gate. Don't have my readers on, but I see a white spec in arch opening on the left. Is that him? Glad you had a good day.

Well he certainly hasn't photo bombed the image I'd say.... Lovely gateway and capture of it Babs.

@winnedreamer @eyesmile @jackie8 @zenna Sorry for the group reply. Well done Gena you have spotted him even without your readers!! I.m impressed. . I think he is doing some gardening. He would be difficult to spot in this small photo, but when I enlarged it after taking the photo you can see him quite clearly.
Yesterday was a lovely day, but I have a feeling that today is going to be a very long day.

Spectacular! I enlarged the shot and saw just the top of the character on the left gardening. He is beautifully framed! This is an impressive image of a fascinating place! Love your POV, composition and lighting!

Nice try but there is ALWAYS someone in shot no matter how hard you try. (unless you actually want someone in shot that is!)

I hope you managed to get through your long day and that you are OK Babs. Thinking of you.

Beautiful stonework and arch!

@sunraye Thanks Raye. He was well hidden and I only spotted him when I enlarged the original photo on the computer screen.

@steampowered My Nanna always used to appear in photos where she was not supposed to be. You would get a foot or an arm or part of her hat in the shot. No photoshop in those days.

@mcmary Thanks Mary. There is quite a bit of stonework at Tanilba. I will have to go back and take more next year.
