Waiting for the wave

I thought I would continue with my Friday people photos again this year.

As it is so hot here at the moment what better way to cool off than having a dip in the ocean.

This was taken at one of our popular surfing beaches.

Awesome capture! I love the blue coloring of the water with the frothing white caps, just stunning. Wish I had some of your warmth, we are in the deep freeze again. :-(

@paulaw No sharks, not in the bay anyway. We do get dolphins, but sharks and whales are out through the heads on the ocean side. Quite safe inside the bay area.

@jackie8 Thanks Jackie. I know I remember the ocean in UK. I went to Herne Bay once and the ocean looked like cold tea!!! We did live on Anglesey for a while and the ocean there was very clear.
We are so lucky here with our oceans they are beautifully clear.
