Well Spring didn't last long. After a rather dull morning with the sun trying to peep through, the clouds finally went black this afternoon and it poured with rain and we had a quick thunder storm.
I have just got home and managed to miss the heaviest of the rain. No time to take photos today though.
This photo is one I took on Sunday at Paterson. It was on a property next to Tucker Park and I think it may be somebody's project. I think they need to do something with it soon though as it is in quite a bad state of repair.
Fabulous! Being a natural born cynic, I think that you will be coming back to photograph the decaying vehicle for a good long time to come before anything happens to it!
@annied Thanks Annie. Had two thunder storms here this afternoon and this evening. It got quite spooky this evening, could almost hear the organ playing Phantom of the Opera. ha ha.
@creampuff How did you guess. I will have to go back definitely and when I have taken the picture they may just force another fantastic meal on me at the Paterson Tavern. It's a hard life.
@quietpurplehaze Cobwebs are the least of the troubles I think. It is probably full of red backs and other spiders and maybe even snakes. You wouldn't get me in there.
Great find Babs, love the composition and depth of field, I tend to look at this as a great change of use, no longer fit for the road so much better than sent for scrap;)
@onewing Oh god Babs, I think a driving lesson in this would be a huge recipe for disaster! I still haven't managed to get the car to move yet, I cant imagine being put in control of this old bus! ;)
@philcameron59 Thanks for dropping by Phil. There are a lot of projects like this on properties out here and I think people buy the things and then they just get left.
HA...ooh dear! Glad Charles didn't see this. Luckily it is too far away. He is actually looking at another boat (a project boat!!!!!.... it has MOSS growing on it!) Hope you get some relief soon from the rain.
More rain here tonight and a terrific thunderstorm Elaine.
