Challenge 1 - Canberra by onewing

Challenge 1 - Canberra

I have been challenged by my 365 friend, Lee @gamelee to post landscapes for the next three days and to challenge three other 365ers to do the same. I am now challenging Pat @happypat, Joyce @thistle, and Derek @derekvickers. Hope you will take part. The landscape may be a photo in your files and does not have to be a new one. Just tag it feb15landscapechallenge

I thought I would post three photos from my files of some of our capital cities. This first one is a view of Canberra taken from the Telstra Tower.

Now that's an unusual landscape shot Babs and I like it a lot! When I went up the Telstra Tower there had been heavy rain and everything was very dull.

@tonygig @shailestha Thanks. I think the windows make a natural triptych.
February 8th, 2015
@terryliv ha ha, that's not a very nice thing to say about our capital city.
Maybe they should have stuck with Plan A and put it where they initially intended in Port Stephens.

Fabulous POV and beautifully framed. Like a collage Babs.
February 9th, 2015

February 9th, 2015

February 9th, 2015
Fabulous landscape...love the framing!
February 9th, 2015
Lovely landscape. Sounds like a chain letter...and if you don't hundreds of people will come and poop on your lawn. LOL
February 9th, 2015
@kathiecb haha, we could do with some poop on our lawn Kathie. We live near the ocean and the garden is almost pure sand. Any contribution gratefully received.

Lee
What a great alternative to a straight forward landscape shot, love the inclusion of the window frames, its like three in one. Good one.
February 9th, 2015
Great landscape, lovely capture and composition Babs Love the windows almost creating a Triptych panel:)
February 9th, 2015
Very effective Babs, the frame produces three very different images.
February 9th, 2015
@onewing I'll send a letter to 10 of my friends. Haha
February 10th, 2015
@gamelee Thanks Lee. That is what I liked about it too.
February 10th, 2015
@pcoulson Thanks Peter, I saw the triptych angle too which is why I took the photo. It was very dry in Canberra when I was there and I think they were a bit concerned that another huge fire was about to go through.
February 10th, 2015
@paulaw Thanks Paula. I thought the same.
