Yesterday we went to Montsalvat in Eltham. Montsalvat is an artist colony established by Justus Jorgensen in 1934. It is home to over a dozen buildings, houses and halls set amongst richly established gardens on 12 acres of land. The colony of Montsalvat has a detailed history that reflects the life of Jörgensen and his friends.
This is a photo of the entrance to the complex.
Sorry I am not able to comment on your photos at the moment, but I am limited for time while we are away.
Thanks to everyone who has been commenting on my photos and sorry I am unable, most of the time to thank you individually at the moment.
A wonderful looking place -- the wood and brick building is so appealing and I love that imposing carved door ! A gorgeous capture Babs , against that wonderfully blue sky
